Welcome to Just Keep Swimming!

We hope you enjoy your stay

Upon Arrival

Entering the House: The front door has a keypad deadbolt. The keyed handle will need to be unlocked on arrival and locked when leaving for the final time. To unlock the keypad, press the Yale logo, enter the code, and press the checkmark. To lock, press the Yale logo. We generally keep the house unlocked when we are there during the day and locked at night.

Parking: There is room for two cars in the driveway. If you need to park on the street, you’ll need to grab the parking pass from the kitchen drawer next to the sink.

Hot Water: The hot water heater is off when you arrive, it is in the laundry closet downstairs. Reach into the closet and press the On/Off button on the controller to turn it on.

Neighborhood Amenities

Pools: Keycards are in the drawer above the trash and recycling to the right of the sink; they work for both pool areas at the Lookout. The orange and white striped towels are for pool and beach use

Shuttle: The shuttle makes a loop between the lower pool, lake/beach access, and the event park.

Beach: You can walk or take a four-wheeler shuttle down to the beach.

Weekly activities are usually posted here and there are sometimes posters at the pools with the same information

Other Details

Trash/Recycling: The trash and recycling can be taken to the neighborhood bins just across cottage lane and one house down the block – the house numbers on the cans don’t matter.

Heating/Cooling: The minisplit system needs all three rooms to be on the same mode (heating or cooling) and can struggle to keep up with the hotter days upstairs. We’ve found that using the blinds to keep direct sun out (dining room side in the morning, deck side in the afternoon) can help, so can turning the bedroom temperatures to a warmer setting (like 78) and upstairs temperatures down (68) – both still need to be on cool. There should be a remote in each bedroom and one in the kitchen for the living room (if not on the counter, then in the drawer above the trash), they need to be pointed at the wall units when making changes
